Journal Entry #5 (Digital Wellness)
What I found most surprising when it comes to issues around Digital Wellness are all the people that aren't living and maintaining a healthy lifestyle because of the internet, they let technology consume their lives. Something I found hard about this unit is minimizing my internet time so I can maintain a healthy sleeping schedule, make time fore friends and family, get better grades, and make time for myself. Once you depend on technology for so long, you feel like you need it for everything. The worst thing for teens when it comes to Digital Wellness is spending too much time on the internet and depending on technology too much. They let it consume them to the point where they don't go anywhere without it.
